For as long as I can remember I've drawn house plans, room layouts, and landscape ideas on napkins and scraps of paper, inspired by the idea of living in unique spaces (Does anyone really like living in a box?). I have always been interested in architecture and interior design, and am excited to be on this journey of creating fresh, insightful and beautiful designs.
I enjoy photography, fine arts, scenic model-building, sewing and crafting in general, but hiking with my dog, music festivals and trying all the great restaurants in Anchorage fills a lot of my time in the summer! I pay close attention to the details in any project. I have a strong sense of aesthetics, a good knowledge of color theory, good spatial awareness and strong composition skills.
I graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Technical Theatre, with a specialization in Scenic Design & Painting. I was working (mostly for fun) towards a degree at Bellevue College in their Interior Design program before being hired at International Kitchens as the Assistant Designer. I worked there for three years then moved to Homer, AK where I worked as a Landscape Gardener and Designer for two seasons. I'm now located in Anchorage, AK and work at Coordinator's Interior Design. Together with a lifetime of crafting and drawing, my background provides me with a solid understanding of aesthetically pleasing configurations, colors and solutions for every design need!
